The Renaissance Family Center was formed in December 2009, and officially opened on January 1, 2010 as a community resource provider for those in need of assistance. The former East Elementary School was purchased and serves as home for the Renaissance Family Center and a diverse group of community partners and tenants. It consists of a 47,000 square foot building on six acres of land.
The Renaissance Family Center houses the Windham Branch of the Portage County Library, the Salvation Army, Townhall II, and the Portage County Red Shield Food Pantry. Through its partners and tenants the Renaissance Family Center provides programs and services important to our community.
We believe that united we contribute to an overall stronger and more vibrant community. By working together with friends, partners, and volunteers we can provide needed support to our families and neighbors.
Through meaningful programs and outreach for children and adults, we contribute to an environment of hope and endless possibilities for our children and community members.
Come and experience all that the Renaissance Family Center has to offer!
